Edit. This was posted live from my picnic spot this morning. I ended up doing a 5.4 mile loop, saw no Eagles or Ospreys … yet but, what a beautiful, peaceful walk. Time in nature. 🙂

On January 19th I took a walk at the reservoir and was a little shocked to see the water level had barely risen and, yes, the sun shone! It’s been a while. The water level was just over 27 metres at the tower; it had been just below that before Christmas.
So the object of today’s walk was, after ALL the rain we’ve had, has the level risen yet? … More Amazed

January 19th saw my first foray up to see how the water level is. Not great but, it was a really good feeling getting out of the car up there, feels like forever since my last visit (December!) … More It’s been a while!

It’s been a while since I’ve been up to the reservoir. I checked back through the images awaiting edit and it was October 27th! That might give you some idea of the dreich weather we’ve been having.
