Happy New Year

I’d just like to wish you all the best in the year ahead, as 2025 draws to a close, here’s hoping that 2026 brings better news for all around the globe. Some are suffering unbelievably at this time so, may it all end soon and sanity return to all those perpetrators.

It’s been a beautiful, sunny and very chilly day here in N.E. Perthshire and I got a great walk in before I lost my bearings 😉

Peace and happiness to all. This ends my first short attempt at blogging for 2025, looking forward to starting a new year ahead. Thanks to all who have liked and responded to many of my posts, I look forward to seeing you all next year and maybe a few new folks too. 🙂

I spent a good hour with this young pair of Stonechats this morning at the wild cam area.

  1. LOL! I love that look of surprise on the Ring-necked Pheasant’s face or eye. They’re so beautiful. Perhaps he’s wondering where the heck 2025 went? I sure am. It flew by so fast!

  7. Is it that Christmas / New Years gap? Is it the dark mornings (over here)? I’ve been totally out of whack for a few days now, longer, some may say. 🙂

    It is now Jan 3rd evening here, we had a mini blizzard overnight and this morning but what a glorious day it turned into so ……. tales and images to come …..
