I recently re-blogged a post from 2025 that showed the Noctilucent cloud shows from June of that year which, spookily happened again on exactly the same date this year. it was a reasonably clear night, they’ve been mostly cloudy recently so, I set up a camera out on the patio, looking North West ish with my usual overnight time-lapse lens fitted, a Viltrox 13mm 1.4 so pretty wide and fixed or, Prime in Nikon terms and let it run. … More What a Lemmon!

I’ve said it before, we are so lucky to live on a low hill (in a house) with almost totally North facing views to an almost totally dark sky, as more people move here, there seem to be more outside lights appearing. Why? You moved to the country, it’s dark here 🙂 … More Aurora season again?
