Good morning everyone, it’s just gone 09:00 here in Central Scotland, after one of those restless, very sleepless nights, I awoke and took my usual look out the windows.
I grabbed my phone, not sure a camera would be very effective for this job, and wandered outside in flip-flops and goonie as ever š
I just had to share the beautiful sights we are seeing this morning.

07:49 – Looking NNW

07:50 – Looking ….. erm …. that way

07:50 – Ah, a tree, got my bearings again

07:50 – Looking West-ish, possibly?
Beautiful isn’t it? š
Update: I’ve just been out again, I think, it’s a bit wetter now but I can also just see a few bits of tree, if you look at the first image, they’re almost visible š
Happy Saturday all, have a good one if you can.
I love foggy misty mornings. It looks lovely. I am not fan of the damp and cold getting into my bones though. Stay warm and dry!

I have to agree, foggy mornings can be beautiful but these are sadly very wet, but warm. Thank you, I have multiple options for staying warm and dry, several coats, fleeces and thermals š¤£š„°š

I hear that! I have been wearing my thermals or chilis as I call them for weeks now while birding in the mornings. I’ve even broke out my hunter’s hand warming pouch.

š And he doesn’t mind????? (the hunter) We’re actually in a strangely warm spell right now but the wind can cut through it very quickly. Walk in the sun (when you see it) it’s quite warm, step into gloom, freezing! As my old mither is fond of saying, “it’s difficult to know what to wear” š

It looks so peaceful where you live. The mist is really beautiful. It’s mysterious and hauntingly beautiful. I live in the city, and although it is convenient? There is not a lot of grass or trees around. It really is bothersome for me. You are so fortunate! The grass is definitely greener on your side!

Hi Traci Lee and thank you, it is very definitely peaceful and beautiful and a conscious decision to get away from it all, its not for everyone, the nearest shops are 3.5 miles away, no people, no traffic, wonderful and so good for our well being. I’ve lived and worked in and around cities most of my life, it’s not good for us but, sometimes needs must š³
