It’s just the rain.

It was raining when we left South Wales yesterday morning but the rest of the drive on this road trip, to Knaresborough was mostly clear skies and HOT 🥵.

We had a stroll around Knaresborough in the afternoon, after checking in to the hotel, it’s a lovely old town.

I forgot, we sat out in the garden and had a wee celebration of our trip so far 🎊

Today we’re taking the train to York in the hope it won’t be hugely busy, Jo has never been so she’s quite excited about it. It will be great not driving!

It rained here overnight so it’s cooler this morning, so far, all the better for strolling around a city.

Here’s hoping. No camera today 😳 scary stuff but, although I know York is hugely photogenic, I don’t want to lug a camera around busy streets so, phone pics it shall be.
