On the road again

I’ve fallen behind on this trip! Why?

Because I’ve been posting on a standard Android phone and the other day I lost a load of words and images so…..I had a tantrum and stopped 😳🤣

We are no longer in S. Wales, we’re now in Yorkshire, in Knaresborough.

I’m going to do the catch up retrospectively when we get home, apologies if you were following along but, we made it here via M50, M5, M42, A42, M1, M62, A1 because they closed the M1 North of Leeds just before we got there, an accident. Here’s hoping not fatal.

York tomorrow, then Knaresborough itself on Friday before the final? trek home on Saturday. We may stop again, who knows?

Was beginning to wonder if you got lost somewhere lol 🤭🤣 Fallen under the radar 🫢 No apologies needed, I understand, it is your vacation road trip after all. Sorry you lost a load of writing and images. I would have thrown a tantrum too along with the phone 🤬 How annoying. Just good to hear you’re ok and I for one will look forward to the updates when you eventually get home.

    Now in Yorkshire? Knaresborough? Where I started my life living in Yorkshire. Moved around quite a lot since those early years but still “uuuup north” as the they say. Hope you went to see old Mother Shipton in between eating those delicious Chou buns, choc eclairs. Well, one does need sustenance after, what I can imagine, was very much needed after travelling numerous manic motorway’s and one cannot visit Knaresborough and York without tasting the local treats and cream teas! 😋 So all is forgiven lol 🤭🤣 I spent many years in beautiful historic York too, working, studying, then Ampleforth for many years until life dictated my move over to West Yorkshire and been here since. (Prefer North Yorkshire sssshh 🤫 but don’t tell the locals that 🤭) they have a worse divide than North and South! 🥴🫣

    My Bro in law lives in Leeds, know it well, let’s hope accident not fatal and everyone ok. Glad you missed it though. Just 🙏 people involved all well.

    Enjoy your trips to York and Knaresborough, before, as Willie Nelson sang, you are “On the Road Again”! (One of my posts is all about being on the road again too!) and always singing that song! Lots of memories.
