December 2024
It’s that time of year, Autumn into Winter when we are seeing some wonderful sunsets and sunrise. Not everyone sees them, some work different hours, some just don’t see them and I guess there are those that just aren’t interested?
This morning was a real beauty in my opinion, quite subtle and fairly short-lived but well worth being up and around for.

I do like a good panorama and like the idea that people get to see the whole picture, not just a small part of it. The sky was being lit by the rising sun, over our horizon and the light, streaks of cloud made a beautiful effect.

Of course I can use the camera to alter the colours it sees as I can also edit the shots so they look different but, I do try to keep things as close to reality as possible.

Changing the settings on the camera can alter what we see quite drastically.

I loved the way the farm house was caught in a window of different light, really making it stand out.
And a bonus to me when I zoomed in, a Blackbird sitting on a branch watching, probably waiting for me to fill up the feeders.

That same light behind the farm house from a different perspective.

And again.

I try to remember all the different views, angles and points of interest for me. The trees further down provide a fabulous silhouette along with the Corvids sitting in them.

It was also getting brighter, all of these were before 8 o’clock.

Not the most spectacular start to the day but it had its own beauty.
Yet another beautiful sky.
